Professional Experience & Career Transition

Kim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and began her professional career in retail management, where she gained seven years of hands-on leadership and customer service experience. After starting a family, she transitioned into the field of education, serving as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional before becoming a certified middle school math teacher at Marble Falls ISD.

Now, with her children grown, Kim has embraced a new challenge in the insurance industry—combining her business knowledge, people-first approach, and commitment to service to guide clients through their coverage options.

Community Involvement & Values

A longtime resident of the Highland Lakes since 2002, Kim is deeply rooted in the community she serves. Her volunteer work includes:

• Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) – Advocating for children in the Highland Lakes area

• St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church – Serving as a lector and Eucharistic minister

• MFISD Athletics – Volunteering as a scoreboard operator for middle and high school basketball games

• Back to School Blast – Distributing school supplies to local students for over six years

Her passion for education, faith, and service shines through in every interaction—making her a trusted advocate for her neighbors’ insurance needs.

Personal Life

Kim and her husband, Danny, a senior civil engineer with LJA Engineering in Austin, are proud parents of two Marble Falls High School graduates. Shelby a Graduate of Texas State University, now working for Austin Police Department 911, and Josh a student at Texas A&M University, studying civil engineering.

The Miller family enjoys lake days, Aggie sports, and spending time with friends.
